I was so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a fun classmate at St. Joseph High School, full of life and happiness and always a smile on her face. I heard that she lived in Basehor (as I do) and always hoped I’d run into her around the area to have a good chat and catch up but I didn’t know where she lived. Sending love and prayers for her family – may God and all His angels wrap their arms around you during this difficult time.

I absolutely adored your Mom. We played Bunco together in the neighborhood. She always put a smile on my face, and could make me laugh not even trying to. Such a very warm and loving lady. Just found out about her passing. So very sad to hear the news. Our loss will definitely be GOD’S blessing. May her sweet soul rest in peace in the arms of GOD.

Devin and Angie – So sorry to hear of Tona’s passing. Haven’t seen her in so very long. What a grand group we had on Sharon Lane – partying and just visiting. I think of Tom and Bev often – they were very special neighbors to our family. I was not aware Ray had passed so you have had a double loss. We are thinking of you and praying your good memories will help to ease the hurt an pain God bless you all.

My heart goes out to you and Devin! Utona was fun and full of life!!!! She lived across from us growing up, I remember carnivals held in her basement, she would tap dance with her beautiful sequined costumes, we charged a nickel for the neighborhood kids to come and watch along with Kool-aid and popcorn. When she had a girl , she named you, Angela, I loved that name and named my daughter that too! She will be greatly missed.

  10. John & Janet (Wever)Zarda Says:

Such a sudden loss to your family. We know she was devastated to lose her sweetheart,Ray,in August. She was always so full of life and loved the Lord. She loved music and dancing at Sun & Surf and Teen Town. Her and my sister,Cynthia, were always together in their teenage years on Sharon Lane. Many good memories. Our family will surely miss her.

  11. Dinah Wooddell Says:

What a joy it was to watch Tona grow in grace and knowledge through our many years of Bible study together. We watched God answer so many prayers those 15 years. She truly loved the Lord Jesus and today, I’m certain she is held in His strong arms and thrilled at the glories of Heaven. You KNOW she is dancing!!
