Terry Burdolski

Terry Peter Burdolski of Shawnee, KS passed away on June 7, 2019 surrounded by loved ones at Advent Health Shawnee Mission.

He was born to the late Frank and Mary Burdolski, May 28, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas.  He graduated from Savior of the World in Kansas City, KS. He served one year in the Air Force as a radio communicator. He married Jane Burdolski on May 7, 2005.

Terry (Mr. B) was a hardworking and passionate auto-body shop owner. Also, his love for fun and adventure drew many people to him and will be profoundly missed by his family and especially by the “KBI” brothers.  He recently retired and moved into his dream home with his wife where he could enjoy life and fulfill his many passions.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Jane Burdolski; daughter, Stacey Lynn Byerley (Sean); stepdaughter, Jennifer Black (Andy); stepson, Andrew Hoffman; four grandchildren, Owen Byerley, Kayleb Byerley, Lyla Black, Henry Black; sister, Donna Phillips; brothers, Steve, John, Frankie Joe, and Jimmy Burdolski; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brotherhood and friendship were very important to Terry especially with his “KBI” brothers and Seminary classmates.


Visitation on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Axtell, KS.  Burial immediately following the funeral mass at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Axtell, KS.

    Mr B. You were one of my very best male friends and I will always remember even the smallest details about you. You made such an impact on my life as I’m sure you did so many others. You were always so happy and positive and truly were a people person. There is truly a void in my heart now knowing that you’re not here.     Terrybob was one of a kind. Always smiling and a heart of gold. We met him 1999 at Frankie D’s. We had so much fun with him and Jani over the years. Sunday a group of us would watch the Nascar race at Frankie’s or the shop. Some Sundays in the pool at at our house. We sure miss though days. Mike saw him about everyday.He touch ALOT of people and will leave a big hole in our hearts.
