Valorie Rennerfeldt

Valorie Rennerfeldt (V.J.), age 58, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 26th, 2023 after a fierce battle with cancer. She was born October 13th, 1964 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her life partner of over 30 years, Michael Howell, and parents, Addison Carlson and Karen Durand. Valorie is survived by her daughter; Ashley Howell, son; Shayne Howell, sister; Stephanie Ray-Solum, and brother; Jeffrey Carlson. All of whom she loved and cared for deeply.

Few things in this world brought Valorie more joy than spending time with her children, Ashley and Shayne. Her home in Shawnee was the family’s landing base for holidays, delicious home-cooked meals, and countless game nights. V.J. also took great pride in her hobby of gardening. However, she had an utter distain for weeds and ground hogs who terrorized her beloved flowers, lilac trees, and Japanese maple. Her son-in-law, Chris was always at the ready with a shovel and rake to come to the rescue. She leaves behind an army of devoted friends whom she loved to share a glass of wine and laughs with. They will carry her memory on through continued “Happy Hours”, prayer, and (even more) wine.
