Tyler Heck

Tyler Robert Heck passed away on February 6, 2024, in Overland Park, Kansas surrounded by family and friends. Born on January 28, 1997, in Merriam, Kansas, Tyler lived a life filled with love and a passion for his family and many friends and interests.

Tyler dedicated his professional career as a Service Consultant and Trainer at Waterway Carwash, where he provided exceptional customer service with attention to detail. His commitment to providing excellent service was admired by colleagues and cherished by clients.

Outside of work, Tyler had a curious and creative mind. He found delight in building intricate structures with Legos, exploring the world of graphic design, and immersing himself in the power of music. His taste in fashion was admired by many, as he had a keen eye for style and always knew how to make a statement. Tyler also had a fondness for food, appreciating his mother's home cooking and fine dining. He loved his dogs, going to the beach and hiking in the mountains.

Tyler attended Grand Canyon University where he met many lifelong friends. He worked at the GCU Service Desk and had an internship with TreviPay in Kansas City in IT Security.

Tyler will forever be remembered for his warm heart and tenderness. His parents, Robert and Sheila Heck, along with his loving sisters, Laurel and Rachel Heck, will forever hold him close in their hearts. He was also adored by his grandparents, Karen and David Bohan, and Robert Mitchell, as well as his Uncle and Aunt, Darrin and Janelle Mitchell, Aunt Beth Mitchell, and Aunt Sandi Heck. His life impacted many close friends and the people he experienced it with.

To honor and celebrate Tyler's life, a service will be held at First Baptist Church of Shawnee, Kansas, on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The visitation will commence at 1:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm. A graveside service will take place afterwards in De Soto Cemetery.
