Shirley E. Bone

Shirley E. Bone, 95, of Lenexa, Kansas passed away on January 15th, 2022.  She was born on January 5th, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas to Frederick and Gladys Fisher.  A visitation will be held on Monday, January 24th from 10-11 AM at Amos Family Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM.  Burial at Monticello Union Cemetery.  

Shirley was an executive assistant the majority of her career spending most of her employment at C.R. Jones.  She married Jerry Bone on October 9th, 1964 spending 32 years of marriage together before his passing in 1996.  While married, they loved to travel.

In her free time, Shirley loved to bowl, play cards and enjoyed family game nights.  She was a big Royals, Chiefs and KU basketball fan.  Shirley was an avid reader and also loved to cook.  Her rice-krispie treats were legendary.  Shirley had a mind like a filing cabinet and knew every important date related to family.  

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bone, Sr.; brothers, Donald Fisher & Dean Fisher; sister, Patricia Fisher, sister-in-law, Madalene Fisher; and nephew, David Fisher.  She is survived by nephews, Donald (Charlene) Fisher & Steven (Yvonne) Fisher, nieces, Stacia Kepler & Cindy Fisher; 13 great nieces and nephews and 11 great-great nieces and nephews.
