Marilyn Jean Valentine

Marilyn Jean Valentine, 94, of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, passed away on March 14th, 2023. Jean was born on August 10, 1928 to Percy and Ruth Bradley in Modesto, California. She married Maurice Valentine Jr. on November 29, 1946 in Turlock, California and together they had eight children. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, son Sherman, and grandson Brian. She is survived by seven of her children, Maurice lll, Bradley (Mary), Marsha Masters (Gerald), Janice Crainshaw (Gary), Ellen Cantrell (Dave), Cheryl Simkins (Lee), and Jim, her sister, Illene Strom, twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 25th from 10-11 AM at Antioch Church, 5201 Antioch Rd, Mission, KS 66202, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM and graveside burial at Shawnee Mission Memorial Gardens.
