Larry Lee Kraus

Larry Kraus, 84, of Shawnee, KS, passed away on March 25, 2022.  He was born on December 12, 1937, in DeSoto, KS, to Lloyd and Helen Kraus.

Larry is preceded in death by his son, Michael Kraus.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Kraus; son, Jeff Kraus; daughter, Christy Lambeth; step-son, Jeff Ring; brother, Phillip Kraus.

He graduated from DeSoto HS in 1955 and then went on to serve in the US Navy from 1955-1958.  Larry loved doing woodworking/carving, yard work, spending time in Florida during retirement, and hunting/fishing in his earlier years.  He was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners.

A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Shawnee on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to immediately follow.  Burial at DeSoto Cemetery.
