Ellie was born in the small town of Farley, Missouri. She grew up in a quaint farmhouse on her parents’ land. This land was very dear to her heart and will forever be her home as it still remains in the family today.
As a young girl, Ellie took pride in her education. She attended the University of Missouri and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration. After graduating, she was employed by Hallmark where she worked until she retired at the age of sixty-eight. Her class and sophistication set her apart from others. Ellie prided herself on excelling at all she did both in work and life.
Ellie loved to travel the world. Her adventures led her to explore New Zealand, Ireland, Spain, and Australia just to name a few. When not traveling, she enjoyed the symphony, playing bridge, and sports. Ellie was a huge fan of the Chiefs and was so happy to see them win another Super Bowl.
Ellie loved strongly and fought fiercely for all she believed in. Her tenacity and zest for life will be missed greatly by those left behind.
