Dylan "Lane" Michalski, Jr.

Lane Michalski Jr., 20, of Merriam, KS passed away on June 10, 2022. A visitation and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.

Lane was born on January 30, 2002 to Dylan and Michelle Michalski. Lane loved movies, his favorite being Avatar, along with waterfalls, walks, music, head rubs, and his family. His smile, eyes, and laughter lit up every room that he was in. He was a fighter that defied so many odds against him. At the end of his life, Lane, was able to be an organ and tissue donor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Dylan and Michelle Michalski and sister Alexis Michalski; his grandparents Don and Debbie Michalski, Annette and Lloyd Pollard, and Elaine Desmond; his aunts and uncles Donna and Jerry Kirkwood, Lauren Smith, Chris and Alexis Stoway, and Paul and Lisa Michalski, cousins Samantha, Jeremy, Julia, Natalie, Jonathan, and Josh.

Lane was preceded in death by his grandparents Rose Krotz and Grover Desmond; his great grandparents Fritz and Virginia Kropf; his cousin Ryan Stoway.

Memorial donations may be made in Lane’s honor to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
