Ardyn "Ardy" Allison Erickson

Ardyn (Ardy) Erickson, 84, of Kansas City, died peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024. Ardy was born on May 22, 1939 in Salina, Kansas to Lawrence and Neda (Smith) Allison. Ardy was a homemaker and mother of four with her former husband, Ronald H. Pflumm and she later worked as a paraprofessional in mental health and had a ten-year career in real estate. During her marriage to second husband, Eric (Rick) Erickson, she went into hotel hospitality management together with Rick. Ardy also worked as a bookkeeper and in banking.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ben Allison, husband of 33 years, Eric Erickson, and her children; R. Nicholas Pflumm and Allison Pflumm Gudikunst and grandson, Ricardo Pflumm. Survivors include her children; Lauri Pflumm Guidry and Garot Pflumm (Marisol); stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Eddy) Malik and ten grandchildren along with six great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 1-2 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024 with a service starting at 2 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.
