Annette passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022 after a courageous battle with MPNST cancer, She was surrounded by her family and best “furkids” Baron and Boomer. Annette died like she lived on her own terms with a strong sense of self and great determination. She had an infectious laugh and a tremendous sense of humor especially in stressful situations.
She was born to David and Kathy Hoelting on October 8, 1975, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest and then attended Le Baron Beauty School graduating at the age of 18 years old. She continued her beauty career for 26 years earning a Master Colorist designation. She was active with Midwest Animal Rescue fostering many dogs and showering them with her gentle kindness and love of animals. She loved to travel to the beach and ocean staying on her favorite Sanibel Island Florida beach every year.
She is survived by her parents, David and Kathy Hoelting, her siblings, David Hoelting Jr, Glen (Wendy) Hoelting and Theresa (Scott) Flickinger all of Shawnee, Kansas. She also leaves 13 nieces and nephews and 2 great-nieces she loved dearly. The family appreciates and thanks Kansas City Hospice and more specifically Misty Looking Horse for the compassionate and loving care she provided to Annette. The family also thanks Tammy Rieke for wonderful care of Annette. Her family is so grateful that Annette had a very loving and supportive group of friends including her cousins.
Visitation on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 9-10am at Amos Family Funeral Home. A prayer service will immediately follow at Amos Family Funeral Home on Thursday starting at 10am. Burial following prayer service at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Lenexa Kansas.
