William James Kelso, Jr., 67, Shawnee, Kansas passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 at his home.
William was born December 13, 1941 in Kansas City, Kansas to William J. and Delores May (Fresiner) Kelso. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. William was executive director of the Kemper House in Ventura, California until his retirement in 2006.
He survived by his fiancé, Sharron Kern of the home; two aunts, Evelyn Stewart, Louisiana and Evelyn Parks, Dallas, Texas; and many other family and friends.
Visitation and Funeral Service
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee; burial in the National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the chapel.
