Bill Elliott, 79, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away, Friday, January 10, 2014, at the Kansas City Hospice House.
Bill was born in Arcadia, Kansas. He was a Korean War Navy Veteran. Bill worked as a truck fleet man-ager and retired from Ryder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Betty Elliott; three daughters, Terri (Augie) Bogina, Karen (Pat) Wells, and Sharyne Butler Nagels; a son, Steve (Martha) Butler; a sister, Sandy Elliott; a brother, Gary (Charlotte) Elliott; eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Kansas Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
