Walt Smith, 84, of Shawnee, KS, passed away on Jan 4, 2020. He was born on June 16, 1935, to Walter and Clara Smith. Walt is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Marjorie Smith; both parents; and son in law, John Rapp.
He is survived by his son, Steven (Velita) Smith; daughter, Gayle Rapp; daughter, Joanie (Mark) Feather; and son Paul (Krissy) Smith; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Wednesday at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to:
