Vernice Schuberth, 92, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at home in Shawnee, KS.
Vernice was born November 12, 1922 in Wharton, TX to Charlie & Lucy Teske. She married John Schuberth on November 23, 1950 in Wharton. He preceded her in death in 2010. Vernice worked for Humble Oil during WWII, and as a student publications manager at the University of Houston. She is survived by her son, Gary (Robin), grandchildren Brittany Trabon (Troy), Erin and Austin Schuberth, and great grandchildren Jackson and Michael.
A brief visitation will be held Monday at 9:30am, at the Amos Family Funeral Home with burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery thereafter.
