Vanitaben Rameshbhai Patel

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vanitaben Rameshbhai Patel, affectionately known to many as Hansaben. She was born on the 27th of July, 1952, in India and departed this life on the 24th of October, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. Hansaben devoted her life to her family as a dedicated homemaker, embodying grace and unwavering commitment throughout her years. Her nurturing spirit and steadfast presence were a beacon of support and love to those who had the privilege to know her.

She loved simple joys — gardening, especially her flowers, sitting outside in the warmth of the sun, feeling the summer breeze. Those were her moments of peace. She loved to travel, to be social, to laugh and share stories. She had such a beautiful balance — spiritual yet grounded, fashionable yet humble, strong yet endlessly loving. Her journey through life was marked by dignity and resilience. Though she faced the challenges of liver cirrhosis, she bore her illness with admirable strength until her peaceful passing. In remembrance of Hansaben, we honor a life characterized by devotion and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was surrounded with love from her husband, Rameshbhai, her kids Ashvin and Lochna, her daughter-in-law Amisha, son-in-law Mihir and her four precious grandchildren, Shivani, Sahil, Nikhil and Milan.

A visitation will be from 6-7pm, Thursday, October 30, 2025 with a funeral service starting at 10am, Friday, October 31, 2025 both at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
