Thevara Siriboury

Thevara Siriboury, affectionately known to many as Tay, passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 56 in Morgantown, West Virginia, due to complications from sepsis. Born on March 6, 1969, in Paksa, Laos, Tay's journey through life was marked by his adventurous spirit and dedication to those he loved.

Tay spent his professional life in the oil and gas industry, a career that underscored his meticulous nature and steadfast commitment to his work. Tay holds certifications in OSHA-Construction Safety and Health, CPR certified, Certified MEWP Operator, Certified forklift Operator Class 1-7. His work ethic and diverse skill set were admired by colleagues and cherished by friends.

In his personal life, Tay found joy and fulfillment in travel, embracing the wonders of the world with an open heart. He was never one to shy away from an opportunity to gather with friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth. His zest for life was evident in every adventure he embarked upon and every friendship he nurtured.

Tay is preceded in death by his beloved siblings: Vasana Louangaphay, Bounthom Stephens, Cinda Sihamaya, Souvanna Siriboury, and Stefan Siriboury, along with their respective families. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him and shared in his life's journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Tay at 4061 SW Camelot Dr, Lees Summit, MO, 64082 all day on Friday, July 25th. Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 26, starting at 11 a.m., followed by funeral services from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.

As we gather to remember Tay, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
