Theo C. Brownfield, age 89 of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away June 28, 2013, at Hillside Village of DeSoto, Kansas.
Theo was born May 15, 1924, in Wakenda, Missouri, to John and Arlene Crawford. Theo was a payroll clerk for Montgomery Ward for many years.
She is survived by nieces, Janet Lake, Brenda (Percy) Buery; nephews, Gerald (Barbara) Lake, Kenneth (Vicki) Lake, Darrin Lake; and many great nieces and nephews. Theo is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, sister, Margaret Crawford Lake, brother John Marshall, Jr.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday July 5, 2013, at St. Joseph Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Memorial contributions in Theo's name may be made to First Baptist Church of Shawnee, 11400 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203.
