Terry J. Derr

Terrance J. Derr (82) of Overland Park, KS, completed his Earthly journey on August 3, 2022.

Terry was born on April 19, 1940 in Kansas City, MO. He is the youngest of three sons, preceded in death by Emmanuel Derr and Thomas Derr.

Terry and Elizabeth were married in November 1964 in Kansas City, MO. They raised three children while living in Shawnee, KS.

Terry worked as a logistics coordinator for Russell Stover and was the owner of Crete Bowl. He retired from Quest in 2015. Terry’s passions were bbq grilling, watching the Chiefs and Royals, and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his three children, Robert, Kevin (Alisa), and Charles (Beth); and his three grandchildren, Ethan (14), Hannah (11), and Ryan (9).

The family wishes to thank everyone for your love, prayers, and support as we remember Terry.

A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 at Amos Family Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00.
