Sergeant Nicholas Scarpelli, 29, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010, in Dade County, Missouri, due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
Nick is survived by his wife Jackie of the home, his parents Nicholas Joseph Scarpelli, Wichita, Kansas; and Dorothy Mohney, Wichita, Kansas; grandparents Bill (Elaine) Rudolph, Wichita, Kansas; Iva Garrett, Wichita, Kansas; and three sisters Shawna Scarpelli, Jessica Dawn Bell, and Kendra Lynn Bell, all of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301.
Visitation and Funeral Service
Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
