Scott Tearney

Scott M. Tearney, 50, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away May 2, 2013.

He was born December 30, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Ralph and Patricia (Courtney) Tearney. He was one of seven children, and lived most of his life in the Kansas City, Kansas and Shawnee area.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, sister Kelly Campbell and by a brother, Greg Tearney. He is survived by his brother Mark Tearney, Kansas City, Kansas, brother Dick Tearney, Shawnee, Kansas, sister Karen Hays, and brother Todd Tearney both of Lee's Summitt, Missouri.

A memorial visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Kansas City, Missouri. (Cathedral Social Services)
