Saroj Furia, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO, just days shy of her 72nd birthday. Saroj found true joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her beloved family, crafting delicious meals in the kitchen, and cherishing her moments of prayer and reflection. Her kitchen was a place of gathering, where aromas of her love-infused cooking would draw loved ones near, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Saroj leaves behind her devoted husband, Raj Furia; her sons, Anand (& Denise) Sangoi, parents to Jaden, Asha, and Divya, and Ankur (& Sonal), parents to Anish and Keval, who were her pride and joy. Sue is also survived by her loving siblings and their spouses: Deepak (& Teresita) Galia, Nisha (& Dilip) Gala, Alpa (& Paresh) Dedhia, and Neena (& Yogesh) Gala.
Preceding her in death are her beloved sister, Rasila Thakur, and her cherished parents, Bhanumati and Talakshi Galia.
