Rosemarie Buckman, 87, passed away June 12, 2015 at Brookdale of Shawnee. Rosemarie was born December 2, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri to George and Catherine Heimburger. Rosemarie was a lifelong Shawnee resident and graduated from St. Joseph High School. On Aug. 16, 1947 Rosemarie married Edward Buckman at the St. Joseph Church. Rosemarie is survived by her daughters; Kathryn Wren, Rita Beckenhauer, Linda Harz, sons; Wayne, Charles, Terence, Kevin and Chris Buckman, 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward on July 27, 2014, parents; Rose Bristow, three brothers; George, John and Francis Heimburger.

Services

A Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.
