Ronald Rene Salinas went to be with Jesus on Sunday, the 9th of September 2013. He lost his battle with cancer.
Ron was born in El Paso, Texas, on the 10th of June, 1950. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict. He had a zest for life that found him around the barbeque grill any time of year. He knew no strangers as he lived out the remainder of his life quietly in Westport, Kansas City, Missouri.
Survived by the mother of his children Cindy M. Salinas; son Ryan C. Salinas; daughter Jessica R. Keaton; two grandsons Steven M. and Logan C. Keaton; sister Belinda; and brothers, Roberto, Ricardo, and Rodney. Preceded in death by his father Ricardo E. Salinas; mother, Yolanda Salinas; and brother Reynaldo.
