Robert “Harvey” Wren

Robert Harvey Wren, 69, Overland Park, KS died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his home.

Harvey was born Oct. 7, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to Robert T. and Dorcas Wren. He was a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School and attended Maple Woods Community College. He was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Harvey was employed with Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant for 17 years and later Harcros Inc. for 12 years, retiring in 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Wren; two sons, Robert E. (Melissa) Wren, Greenwood, MO and Jason M. Wren, Overland Park, KS; sister, Martha Van de Putte, CO; brother, Harry Wren, Webster, TX; and three grandchildren, Robert, Blake and Jacob Wren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Resurrection Cemetery.
