Richard Allen Spring, 60, Shawnee, KS passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home from complications of alcoholism.
Richard was born Sept. 17, 1954 in El Dorado, KS to Kenneth and Betty Joe Spring. Richard worked for KCP&L for 32 years, retiring as a Vice President. He sat on various boards throughout Kansas City.
Survivors include his wife, Lesa Grange Spring; daughter, Maelee Spring, Shawnee, KS; son, Wesley Spring, Mission, KS; two sisters, Kendra Wilkinson and Sharon Decker both of El Dorado, KS; six grandchildren, Ashley, Hailey, Marley, Mason, Miles and Draylee all of Shawnee, KS and Dutch grandson, Derk van der Beek, Leipzig, Germany.
A memorial service will be 4:00 pm Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Cremation.
