Reva Marie Rottinghaus

Reva Marie Rottinghaus went home to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, August 31, 2011.

Reva was born December 21, 1926, in Seneca, Kansas, to Alfred and Bertha Woltkamp. She worked at Southwestern Bell for 30 years, retiring in 1982. Reva was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent P. Rottinghaus. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Larry) Hunt, Hillsboro, Oregon; son, Richard Rottinghaus, Shawnee, Kansas; grandchildren, Tony (Lisa) Hunt, Aron (Rachel) Rottinghaus, Christy (Nick) Edwards, Kendra (Tyler) Gibson and Joshua Rottinghaus; great grandchildren, Reese, Colby, Isabella and Alexander.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, Kansas.
