Remy A. Maes, 83, Raymore, Missouri, passed Thursday, October 11, 2012, at his home.
Remy was born March 23, 1929, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was a volunteer fireman for South Park, Kansas.
Survivors include his two daughters, Dianne Schemm, Olathe, Kansas, and Cindy Arnold Fishburn, Leawood, Kansas; two sisters, Mary Ingold, Kansas City, Kansas and Yvonne Lemon, North Kansas City, Missouri; five granddaughters, Kristie Jeffers, Ashley Schemm, Jenny Nordin, Stephanie DuPree and Dawn Arnold; and three great grandsons, Zain Jeffers, Kale Jeffers, Aiden DuPree and Wyatt William McComb.
at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2012, at the funeral home; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery.
