Rachelle Cook

Rachelle Cook, 57, De Soto, KS passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 in Mendon, MO. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the funeral home.

Rachelle dedicated her life to raising her three children and being a “Nana” to her grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking and entertaining. She also enjoyed crafting, sewing and quilting.

Rachelle had a strong work ethic. She always said it like it was. She was loving, caring, and always put others before herself. Live music and concerts were among some of her favorite pastimes, along with garage sales and going for drives with her Route 44 size strawberry limeade with extra strawberries.

Rachelle is preceded in death by her father Edward L Cook. She made many sacrifices raising her three children as a single mother, who survive her, Nick Cook, Tiffany (Brent) Powers and Brandon Beggs. She also leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Pauline and William Magin; brothers, Steven Magin and Troy Magin; sister, Roxanne Cook; and eight grandchildren, Bailey Cook, Kennedy Cook, Gracyn Cook, Ava Lewis, Brinlee Lewis, Cendry Lewis, Carli Powers and Hudson Powers.
