Paul W. Walter was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Ottawa, Kansas. Paul grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, and graduated from Lawrence High School and KU. Paul's parents were George and Florence Walter.

Paul lived in Lenexa, Prairie Village and Lake Quivira. In 2012 he moved to Lakeview Village in Lenexa. Paul was a member of Lenexa United Methodist Church, Rotary International, Johnson County Bankers Association and was a Stephen Minister. He built the bank at I-35 and 95th St., currently Bank of America. Paul enjoyed golfing and flying.

He leaves his wife, Nora Lee, son Paul W. Walter, daughter, Carolyn Hampton, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial Service

Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tues., April 7, 2015, at Lenexa United Methodist Church. Private services
