Paul E. Goff, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, in Merriam, Kansas, at the age of 95. Born on April 28, 1931, in Savonburg, Kansas, Paul led a full and meaningful life devoted to his family, work, and passions.

After graduating from Stark High School, Paul joined the military, serving his country with honor and dedication. Following his military service, he embarked on a long and successful career with Procter and Gamble, where he worked diligently for 31 years until his retirement.

Paul met the love of his life, Alice, during their high school years. Both hailed from large farm families, and their shared values and dreams led them to wed in Groton, Connecticut, in November of 1956. This November, they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, a testament to their enduring love and commitment.

A man of many interests, Paul found immense joy in woodworking, hunting, fishing, and exploring the beauty of national parks. He cherished the great outdoors and treasured the moments spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life.

Paul was an esteemed member of the Masonic Lodge, having been honored with a 50-year pin in recognition of his longstanding dedication and service.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Adam Goff; his brothers, Charles, Harry, Donald, and Kenneth Goff; and his sisters, Fern Masheter and Faye Brentinger.

Paul leaves behind his beloved wife, Alice; daughter Lynette Goff; son Mike Goff and his wife Patty; and sister Ruby Ettinger of Olympia, Washington. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Alex and his wife Stephanie, Ashley and her husband Jeremy Angotti, Jonathan and his wife Nikki, and Nicholas and his wife Allie. He also leaves behind his adored great-grandchildren: Kaylee Goff, Gracee Franklin, William Goff, Evelyn Goff, Noah Goff and Landon and Emmelyn Black.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Merriam Christian Church, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather and remember a life well-lived, honoring Paul's memory and the love he shared with those around him. Paul's family will  lay him to rest in a private graveside service at Fort Scott National Cemetery.

Paul E. Goff's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family and friends were the love of his life, and his legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will forever be remembered.
