Octavio C. "Tavi" Ramirez, 83. Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013.

Tavi was born in Kansas City, Kansas, to Ramon and Antonia Ramirez. He graduated from Wyandotte High School and from Kansas City Art Institute in 1953. He worked for Western Auto for 37 years where he retired.

Tavi was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Alicia Grado and brother, Raymond Ramirez, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Anita S. Ramirez; brother, John (Melody) Ramirez; five sisters, Rachel (Raymond) Segura, Carmen (Jim) Mott, Elvira Ramirez, Virginia (Doug) Chambers and Patricia Davis.

Funeral Service and Visitation

Funeral serviceswill be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home; entombment in the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Lenexa, Kansas. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home.
