Nicholas "Nick" Heath Carson

Nicholas Heath Carson, 24, died August 20, 2022 at Overland Park Reginal Medical Center.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 pm, Saturday, August 27 with a memorial service starting at 4:00 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203. Reception to follow at the funeral home.

Nick was born on June 8, 1998 in Merriam, Kansas to Stan and Cathy (McEntee) Carson.

Nick attended Merriam Park Elementary, Hocker Grove Middle School, and graduated from Shawnee Mission North in 2016. During his years at North, he played football and excelled in wrestling. His senior year he was the Regional Champion and placed 4th at the state tournament. His passions were K-State football and the Kansas City Chiefs, were he and his mother were season ticket holders. He was also a major movie buff. And could recite any movie word for word. His favorites were Tarantino and Marvel movies, but of course Star Wars. He loved being an uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Nick was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Billi Ann Carson, uncle Steve Carson, and his cousin’s wife Becky Anderson.

Survivors include his parents; brother Cody and his wife Kelly and their son Chael, sister Kristen and her husband Marion Koop and their children Jolee and Josef, brother Jason his wife Aymie and their daughter Reagan; maternal grandmother Ann Matthews; aunts Nancy, Kim (Bob) Fisher, Molly McEntee, Sheryl (Ron) Nutt and uncle Shawn Carson, and many cousins.
