Naomi Shipps, 94, of Shawnee, died July 10, 2019. Naomi was born May 31, 1925 in Orrick, MO to Frank and Juanita McMullen. She was a clerk at the Mission Highland Supermarket. She was a member of the Shawnee United Methodist Church.
Naomi married Robert Shipps on October 20, 1965 in North Kansas City, MO. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2010.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Betty) Pearson; a daughter, Paula (Jay) Jones; eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 9 - 10 a.m. Wednesday followed immediately by funeral services at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Richmond Memory Garden, Richmond, MO.
