Michael A. Hagerty, Sr.

Michael Anthony Hagerty, Sr., passed away August 21, 2022 just after midnight at his home.  He was surrounded by his wife, Mary, children, Michael Jr., Tina, and her husband Terry J. Weishaar while listening to music from the 50s and 60s while they were sharing fun stories of their times together.

He was born to William and Alice (Deringer) on August 4, 1945 in Kansas City, KS.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alice; brothers, William and Paul; sisters, Mary, Sarah, Wilma, Leona, Bonnie, and Bertha.

He leaves behind his wife, Mary (Cline); son, Michael A. Hagerty, Jr.; daughter, Tina (Terry) Weishaar; five grandchildren, Robert (Jaime) M. Schweiger Jr., MaryAnne (Alex) L. McNeal, John Michael J. Weishaar, Michael A. Hagerty, III., Jesselyn R. Hagerty; six great-grandchildren, Wade M. Schweiger, Miles L. McNeal, Ryder J. Weishaar, Maeva N. Schweiger, Rylie L. McNeal and Darcy G. Schweiger.

Mike is going to be strongly missed by our entire family, but will live forever in our hearts and shared memories.  We will always hold on to the stories he shared with everyone of his youth, meeting his wife, Mary, and his now “classic” cars.  Mike enjoyed being outside and traveling.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He made us all stronger and will continue to guide us through all of our lives.
