Mary K. Parrish

Mary Kathryn Parrish, 85, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on November 9, 2013, surrounded by her family.

Mary was born on July 9, 1928, to James and Mildred Grady. She was married to the love of her life, Hallet C. Parrish, in 1947 and together they had four daughters. Mary was devoted to raising her children and considered them her greatest achievement.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her four daughters, Valorie Hamachek (John), Victoria Cronin (Gene), Vivian Clayton (Dave) and Viveca Phelps (Bill); and grandchildren, Jena, Lyndsay, Dana, Brian, Kathryn and Ian.

A Memorial Service and Gathering in Mary's honor will be held at Life Spring Church (206 N. Webster, Spring Hill, Kansas) on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, starting at 6:30pm. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
