Mary E. Harris, 80, Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Trinity Nursing and Rehab in Merriam, KS.  Mary was born December 8, 1938 in Wichita, KS the daughter of William W. and Hilda E. Strickland.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Buddy Harris; a son, Scott Walker; a brother, Gilbert Strickland; a stepson, a step daughter, and 2 grandsons.

She is survived by a son, Farrin Harris, Shawnee, KS; a brother William Strickland of Overland Park, KS a sister Patricia Hopkins, Summerville, S.C.; a sister, Sherri Berg of Olathe, KS; a step daughter, Karen Kyle of Independence, MO; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Mary will be laid to rest with her husband Buddy 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
