Marvin E. Brockschmidt, 87, passed away March 19, 2015 at Olathe Medical Center. Marvin was born on January 23, 1928 in Cole Camp, Missouri to Albert and Matilda Brockschmidt. He is survived by his wife, Wilma, daughter, Marsha (Randy) Fassold, daughter-in-law, Nancy Brockschmidt, sisters; Mildred Ashbrook, Erma (Dennis) Davis, brother-in-law, Ken Perry, step-mother, Emma Brockschmidt, four grandchildren; Ellen and Steven Brockschmidt, Brian and Colin Fassold. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, and son, David Brockschmidt. Marvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend with a wonderful sense of humor and compassion for others. As a Marine, he proudly served his country in the Korean War. He worked many years as a CPA in the Kansas City area. A man of strong faith, Marvin was very active in his church, singing in the choir, serving on various committees and leading Bible studies. He will be missed by all.

A Visitation is set for 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Thursday March 26, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church 5601 W. 62nd Street Mission, Kansas 66202 with a Memorial Service immediately following at 2:00 PM.
