Marjorie Marie East, 89, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away January 31, 2014. She was born March 29, 1924, in Kansas City, Kansas, to George W. and Winnie G. Dyche. She worked for many years in the housekeeping department of Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and her son Benjamin “Alex” East. She is survived by sons, Bill, Richard, and Franklin East; daughters, Alicia Mace and Patricia Johansen; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2014, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
