Marion J Gunter

Marion J. Gunter, 85, was born on February 26,1930 in Clinton, MO and passed away on February 20, 2016 in Shawnee, Kansas. Marion was a USN Veteran of the Korean War and retired from the BPU (KCK). He enjoyed his family and golf. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Ann, three children, Steve (Terry) of Shawnee, Teresa (Jan) Hamilton of Topeka & Keith (Linda Reynolds) of Wichita. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Travis (Jocelyn) of Lawrence, Megan (Patrick) of Australia, Courtney (James) of Iowa, Austin of Topeka & Shelby of Overland Park and five great-grandchildren, Lejla, Jorden, August, Mila, & Sylvia.

Our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather brought all of us eternal happiness. His life and light touched all he knew and made each a better person. We all have special memories that we will never forget and always cherish.
