Maria J. Jessie Hernandez, 78, of Prairie Village, KS, passed away on March 17, 2017. Jessie was born August 13, 1938, in Kansas City, KS to Juan and Eulalia Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruth Reyes; brothers, John and Conrad Hernandez. Jessie is survived by sisters, Rita Silva, Sally Meunier, and Trini Arroyo (Tony); as well as numerous cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 24th at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Holy Rosary, 71st & Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Queen of the Holy Rosary Church.
