LeRoy M. Waldrop, 86, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away October 29, 2011. LeRoy was born October 20, 1925, in Shawnee, Kansas, to Norman F and Ella (Dyster) Waldrop.
He is survived by his wife Norma L. Waldrop; daughters Barbara Johnson, Debby Swank and Becky Taylor; sons Randy Mead and Chad Waldrop; grandchildren, Josh Swank, Bryant Swank, Dillon Taylor, Marcus Waldrop, Alex Reandon, and Gabrial Castro; and sister Velma Frye and her husband Tom.
LeRoy's memory will live on through his loving family.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Odyssey Hospice, 8735 Rosehill Road, Suite 200, Lenexa, Kansas 66215.
