Larry Laverne Hill

Larry Laverne Hill, 75, Merriam, KS passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his home.

Larry was born August 29, 1940 to Lee and Edna Hill of Pollock, MO. He was a graduate of the Unionville High School and a veteran of the U.S. National Guard. Larry was employed with Western Air Maps as a draftsman for many years and later owned and operated an Amoco Service Station in Kansas City, KS.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Hill on March 29, 2012. He is survived by his sons, Larry Dean Hill, Lenexa, KS and Michael Hill and his wife, Meredith, Overland Park, KS; brother, Lloyd Hill and wife, Wilma; sister, Betty Roof, all of Unionville, MO; grandchildren, Dakota Hill, Dallas Hill, Madison Baker and McKenzie Baker.

A visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday, April 1 at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, April 2 at the Playle-Collins Funeral Home in Unionville, MO; burial in the Unionville Cemetery.
