Larry Campbell made his grand entrance into the world on August 18, 1946, in Sabetha, Kansas, and left us on June 19, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. At 79 years young, he left behind a legacy of laughter and love that will echo through the ages.

Throughout his life, Larry displayed a strong work ethic, having honed his skills as a lens grinder and later transcending the art of pizza orders at Pizza Hut. Yet beyond the grindstone and the pizza dough, Larry's heart and soul were always aligned with music, religious contemplation, and an undeniable addiction to murder mystery shows.

Known for his razor-sharp wit and irresistibly corny jokes, Larry could lighten up any room. When asked if he needed anything, he would quip, "Yeah, a bottle of Crown Royal!" His humor was as enduring as it was endearing.

Larry reunites with those who went before him — his father, Raymond Campbell, his beloved mother Elizabeth Willine Campbell, sister Beth Walker, Niece Kimberle Gibson and nephew Ace Walker. Here on Earth, he leaves behind Step mother Marilyn Campbell, his brother Darin Campbell, sister Marcia Gibson and her husband Wayne Gibson, and brother in law Charlton Walker along with a crowd of nieces and nephews who adored him.

Graveside services to honor Larry's life will be held at Lenexa Cemetery at 11 a.m. on July 20, 2026. We invite all who knew him to join us in celebrating the man who always found a way to brighten our days with laughter, music, and a well-timed joke.
