Kathryn “Kathi” Marie Walker

Kathryn "Kathi" Marie Walker, born April 8, 1983, passed November 1, 2011.

Kathi led a happy, full of joy life, she was a Majority Member of the International Order of Job’s Daughters and a longtime supporter and participant in Special Olympics and Adventure Fitness.

Kathi graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 2002 and was a Bachelors of Science student in Marketing at Emporia State University. She was a member of the university newspaper, disability advocacy and marketing club.

She is survived by her mother, step-father, brother, half sister and grandparents.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee with the funeral service following at t 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up the “Kathryn Walker Memorial Fund” through Valley View Bank to help with funeral expenses. You can make donations through the mail or at any branch.
