Katharine A. Shope, 79, passed away March 14, 2016 surrounded by her family. Katharine was born June 16, 1936 in Fayette, Missouri to Victor and D'arline Whiteside. Katharine is survived by her daughters; Jane (Peter) Broll, Sara (Greg) Jones, Rebecca (Denzil) Bush, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister; Lorinda Reed, brother, John Whiteside. She was preceded in death by her husband; William B. Shope, parents, brothers; Charles and James Whiteside.

A Memorial Service is set for 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Drive Shawnee, Kansas 66203.
