Judy McCreary, a beloved mother, grandmother, and dedicated educator, passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 26, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born on February 6, 1946, in Wichita, Kansas, and was 80 years old at the time of her passing.
Judy devoted her professional life to nurturing and educating young minds as a teacher. Her passion for imparting knowledge and her unwavering commitment to her students left a lasting impact on countless lives. Beyond her career, Judy cherished her family above all else. Her interests revolved around the joy and love she found in her family, which was the cornerstone of her happiness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Irma Kimball. She is survived by her loving sister Mary Ann Elliott, son, Matt McCreary, and his wife, Kelly McCreary; her devoted daughter, Melissa Storrer, and her husband, Lee Storrer. Judy leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Ethan King, Charlie McCreary, and Madeline McCreary who will forever hold her memory dear.
Judy will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the love she shared so generously with her family and all who knew her. Her legacy of warmth and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
