Joan Mruskovich, 70, Shawnee, Kansas passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, Kansas.
Joan was born June 17, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Ann (Lacy) Lonosky. On June 15, 1968, Joan married Joseph Mruskovich in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Shawnee, Kansas.
She survived by her husband, Joseph A. Mruskovich; son, Joseph J. Mruskovich, Olathe, Kansas; daughter Kimberly A. Douglas, Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Ann Mruskovich, Palos Heights, Illinois and Joyce Toma, Oak Forest, Illinois; brother, John Lonosky, Oak Lawn, Illinois; and five grandchildren, Jacob and Corey Mruskovich, Kyla, Madison and Camden Douglas. ~Baba, you are in our hearts forever.
Visitation and Funeral Service
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church; entombment in the Resurrection Mausoleum. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, where a rosary recitation will be at 6:00 p.m.
