Jo Ann Toomay, 82, of Shawnee Kansas passed away on January 5, 2017. Jo Ann was born March 29, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas to Shelby and Lurue Whiles. Jo Ann is survived by her two daughters, Denise (Chuck) Brooks, and Susan (Rick) Toomay, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister, Dorothy McMillin, sister-in-law, Barbara Mayhugh, and brother-in-law, Roy Toomay. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold in 2014, son, David Toomay, daughter, Cathy Toomay, sister, Betty Powers, and brother, Harry Whiles.
