Jennifer "Jenny" Lynette Woodall, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts. Born on May 18, 1966, in Paola, Kansas, Jenny lived a vibrant and full life of 59 years.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30am, Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Amos Family Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:30am. Jenny will be laid to rest at Osawatomie Cemetery following her service.

A graduate of Osawatomie High School, Class of 1984, Jenny went on to attend the University of Kansas, where she nurtured her love for learning and cemented her lifelong passion for knowledge. Jenny's professional journey saw her contributing her talents to Yellow Freight and Tickets for Less, where she was admired by colleagues and clients alike.

Jenny had a wide array of interests, but her heart always held a special place for anything related to "The Wizard of Oz." She was an ardent supporter of all Kansas City professional sports teams and took great pride in cheering on any sports team her beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews were involved with. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her support unwavering. A voracious reader and enthusiastic traveler, Jenny also had an enduring love for music that accompanied her throughout her life.

Her family, both immediate and extended, were central to Jenny's world. She was the much-loved daughter of Reita D. Woodall and the late Gerald K. Woodall. Her siblings, Sue (Woodall) Platt and her husband David, and Bruce Woodall and his wife Melissa, will forever cherish her memory. Jenny was the adored "Cool Aunt" to her nieces Wendy (Platt) Kirkpatrick and her husband David, Kendra (Woodall) Rogers and her husband Greg; nephews Aaron Platt and his wife Lindsay, Andrew Platt and his wife Julie, and Taylor Woodall and his wife Nicolle. She also leaves behind a legacy of love with her ten great-nieces and great-nephews, who will remember her fondly.

Jenny was a devoted Kansas City Monarchs season ticket holder and could always be found at games, cheering with enthusiasm and joy. Her passion for family genealogy connected her to her roots, and her stories will continue to be told for generations.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Gerald K. Woodall, whose memory she treasured deeply.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jenny's life on Saturday, August 30th, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. Jenny will be laid to rest at Osawatomie Cemetery, where she will join her father in eternal peace.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jenny's name to a charity of choice, celebrating her spirit of kindness and generosity.

Jenny will be remembered for her immense heart, her infectious laughter, and the love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Though she has left this world, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
